Joy in Movement to Open at Bask, Bokarina

We are thrilled to announce that Joy in Movement will be joining the Bask Bokarina community later this year.

Owned by Sunshine Coast locals Brooke and Jimmy, Joy in Movement is an innovative infrared fitness studio focused on wellness, mobility, and helping people feel their best.

Designed to support every stage of a health journey, the studio will offer a diverse range of classes, including strength training, mobility and stretching, and cardio burn.

As local residents, Brooke and Jimmy were drawn to Bask Bokarina for its prime location near Bokarina Beach, vibrant lineup of local vendors, and strong community spirit. “It’s so close to the beach, has a great vibe, and offers a genuine community connection. We really couldn’t have picked a better location for our business,” shared Brooke and Jimmy.

Reflecting on their partnership with Gardner Vaughan, the founders highlighted the team’s welcoming approach and shared dedication to community building. “Gardner Vaughan has been immersing us into the community—it was never just a transaction, it’s been the whole experience,” they explained. “They made a big deal of trying to build that community sense, and we’re really keen on creating that same sense of community within our business.”
